Replaced the battery and after that I drove 1000 miles. Confused what should I do now? Should I try to do smog check at some other station?

The self check monitors have not run because they are hanging up on some type of pending fault. That fault will need to be identified and repairs before the self check monitors will run to completion.

I recently changed the battery, and the smog check mechanic told me to do some drive cycles to initiate all the monitors. Does the OBD tests fail some times because of the new battery?
