I passed the smog test but I have this problem. I've taken this car to Toyota in the last few years because my engine check light came on. They have replaced 3 of the 4 main smog valves. The check light goes out and I pass but then a few months later it's come back on.

Who ever is working on your car is not properly taking care of the problem, or the light would not keep coming back. To set your Catalyst Monitor, drive your car on the freeway at 55-60 mph, no more and no less for at least 10 miles, then shut it off and do it again. Your EVAP monitor should run and set when you cold start the car in the morning. Have about 1/2 tank of gas and a new factory gas cap, if not then I would purchase one and make sure it is tight.
