2003 Saturn L200 Question: OBD code reads po128 on my car MD reader what is it ??

 Rookie

Low mi. car 60.000 Wifes car where do I look first ect.
Light just came on 3 days ago car has been setting 23 degree temps.is it ok to start and let it warm up ?

    Most likely the engine coolant thermostat is stuck open and needs to be replaced. The fault code is due to engine coolant tempuature is staying too low.

    1. Check for a possible code P0128 set in the Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
    2. Check if the engine is taking a long time getting up to operating temperature, as if the thermostat was bad.
    3. Try clearing the codes with the scanner anyway and see if the fans shut off.
    Tech Tips:With this code, the PCM will default the cooling fans
    You have a bad thermostat
