  My 2004 Honda Element emissions light came on and stayed on for a few days. I took it to Bruce and within 40 minutes all was working just fine. This is in spite of the fact that the Honda trouble codes were confusing and he ended up having to install two sensors, one before and one after the catalytic converter. He did not charge me to install the second one when the code confusion was discovered. Dealer was ready to charge almost $400 for one sensor replacement plus labor. Instead, I got two replaced (from O'Reilly and Auto Zone) and paid only $40 for labor. He's smart, patient, and reliable. What more can you ask for in your mechanic?

  Honest, Dependable, Hard Working... This is a person who gets customer service and you will be happy you went there. He took extra time to inspect the vehicle and recommended some additional customer based maintenance that will increase the life of the vehicle. He treats you like family and that is very rare these days.

  I highly recommend Oak Hill Mechanic without any reservation. Bruce is knowledgeable, fast and a pleasure to talk with. He is honest and helpful, and does excellent work for a fraction of what a shop would charge. It is a huge advantage to be able to talk to the person actually doing the work. If you are tired of paying outrageous prices for car repairs at big commercial shops then call Bruce at Oak Hill Mechanic...you will be glad you did!

  Finally found a mechanic I can trust and rely on. Bruce has gone out of his way to assist and answer whatever questions I had about my car's repair which was done timely and professionally. Well done!!!

  I called Bruce about my son's car. He came to look at it at our place, gave us an estimate for his labor and later emailed me the parts I needed to buy. I found Bruce, honest,very competent, and extremely thorough. I would recommend him to any of my friends who need repairs. I have found a mechanic I can trust and as a woman this is very important to me.

  There’s no doubt about it! Bruce White is an excellent mechanic - not only in the way he repaired our car’s air conditioning, but he allowed us to keep the pricing at a minimum. When you have the opportunity to order the parts needed for your car’s repair yourself, you know there is no mark up on the mechanics end. I think this is a very unique way to do business that really works! Bruce offered advice and direction in where to find the parts needed at the cheapest prices. He was also honest in letting us know that one of the parts ordered was not needed which allowed us to return the merchandise. He was spot on in the timeline he promised to have the job completed. We are already scheduling additional repairs we want him to do!

  I took my Ford F150 to Bruce for a check engine light. He took the time to explain what he was doing,why he was doing it, and what i needed. turns out I just needed the system reset. On top of this he took the time to email me the bulletins that were listed for my truck. I paid him and he said it was to much and returned some funds to me. Hows is that for an honest person in today's world. Bruce will always have my business.bc

  I took my sons car to Bruce White in Oak Hill. He looked a the problems that we were having with the car. He assessed the problems and gave options for solutions. He quoted price repairs for the different options. He repaired the car to the specifications that we had discussed and the price was exactly as he had quoted. The repairs were completed in the time line that was set and efficiently.

  Bruce is very thorough and honest. Our 2000 Toyota Camry needed the air conditioner system replaced, the compressor, condensor, dryer and accessories. Bruce did a great job. He stands by his work, the system works great. He told me to bring it back if there were any issues. He is fair and very reasonbly priced. In this day of rip-offs, Bruce is very competent and has integrity. I will not hesitate to use Bruce again.
