Not getting spark on 1992 Mercury Capri

Ignition coil replaced , distributer cap and rotor and still not getting spark

Check the pick-up in the distributor. If this is bad you won't have spark.

What does the coil look like... Would you see copper wires exposed or should they be concealed? It looks like it may have had a cover coming out of the distributor...

the distributor is bad shouldn't be hard to fix. if you know what your doing, check the timing chain if the rotor doesn't rotate when someone turn the key.
