Question: noises from front end when turning

when I turn I hear a screeechy sound on driver side... I was told it was the shocks, I say that, althoug it may need shocks, the other sound I hear it when I turn left of right..

  It could be your brake pads are worn out and have metal to metal contact or power steering pump is low on fluid or the power steering belt is slipping.
