2002 Pontiac Bonneville Question: Noises

How do i check to see if the intake is assebled right or anything. it seems to have good power i can accelerate fast with no problems. -
Answer 1
If your upper intake manifold has just been replaced it is not uncommon for the pcv valve not to be installed correctly. You can check this by removing the oil fill cap while the engine is running. If you notice a strong vacuum in the engine with the oil cap off then chances are the pcv valve was left out or incorrectly installed in the new upper intake manifold. The pcv valve should be installed including two o-rings seals and a locating spring in the housing under the map sensor on the top of the upper intake at the front of the engine. -
