2005 Ford Freestyle Q&A

2005 Ford Freestyle Question: noise when turning wheel to the right

When I'm driving my 2005 freestyle and turn to the right it makes a whining noise. Could it be the tires? -
Answer 1
You might want to look at the tie rods or CV joints -
Answer 2
Whining noises usually are typically caused by a failing PS pump, but you stated that it occurs only when turning to the right. Does it still make the noise when not moving? A left side wheel bearing could make noise when driving and turning to the right due to the weight transfer. -
Answer 3
check your power stering fluid I had this happen to me once and that was the problem -
