Hi there - I have an '04 Corolla, 112K miles, last brake/rotor replacement was at 76K miles. Driving is almost exclusively in-town. Wondering if the following noise is cause for concern... when I depress the brake, it's very squeaky (kind of an "eek-eek-eek" sound). Car appears to be braking fine - is this indicative of the brakes going, or just a support mechanism under the brake going bad? Thanks!

when brake pads wear, they reach a point that is built into the pads themselves that makes an awful squeaking noise when it is DEFINITELY time to get the replaced
