Question: noise from in dash

I hear a shrill sound coming from inside the dash. It occurs intemittently. I can not pinpoint a certain time such as when I brake or if the car has been runing for a certain length of time. It is ear piercing. Seems to be some kind of electrical malfunction.

    Often noise coming from inside the dash is very difficult to pinpoint. Ask any mechanic and they will tell you. If it only does it when you hit the brakes , It's in your brakes. Certain low grade brake pads can cause this. It sound like the brakes. or it could be the fan belt if it's always there. You can contact us on brakeplusinc.com and see our reviews on Yelp.
