noise on 2007 Saturn Ion

there is a "squeaky" noise coming from my front driver tire,after i hit 30mph it doesn't do it anymore, and it doesn't go away when i step on brakes

It sounds like you may have a brake wear sensor that is beginning to contact the brake rotor. This sensor is warning you that the brake pads are getting low. You should have your brakes inspected ASAP not only for your safety but to try and prevent damage to your brake rotors.

crazy as it may sound check your hud caps.. take the fronts ones off and drive it without them and see if you hear it. i had the same issue he had breaks replaces when it wasn't needed to find out it was the cheap hud caps.
