Verified

A faulty RPM sensor can cause the Check Engine Light to come on and cause a "No Start" condition.

  • Visitor, 1992 Volvo 940, 2.3L 4 Cylinder, 190,900 mi

    Running perfect when shut off. No restart. Crank but no spark. Replaced RPM sensor (flywheel sensor) and started right up.

    failed to start at Hilltop Festival ion West Virginia.......broken wire discovered by accident....started when wire reconnected.....

    also discovered rusty fuel line leak of gas on to the muffler
