At times will not start no crank or nothing, but some days it would start like everything is normal. So when it didn't start i would jerk the key ignition back and forth until it started.
Anti theft system has it locked up won't crank but occasionally
2002 Yukon Denali security light is blinking and won't start !! My battery has been bad for a while making me jump it for the last couple of months !! Could the battery have caused this ??
Security light flashing
Starts and immediately dies
Not yet fixed
Occasionally starts but will immediately shut off . And will not run until you leave it alone for ten minutes. (I'm guessing the body control module resets) then it starts up and runs fine. Weather temp changes I noticed is a factor . Also if it doesn't start just leave the radio on and don't open the drivers door . Pull the key out of the ignition
And then wait for the radio to automatically time out/turn off. Then it will start every time.
No crank after changing the battery can some one give me the answer to the problem
Wont crank at times then cranks fine at others
It has happened 2 x in the past 9 months, it reset by putting key in door to open it instead of the key chain unlock. Security light goes on more frequently now.
That can't fix it yet after 3 stations and a dealership tried.
It won't start because of the antitheft
I have a 2006 envoy Denali keeps cranking no start, all the lights and power go out, I wait about 5 10 minutes then it starts fine. It starting to do this every time I go to start car.
Same as stated
my security system has been blinking since I bought the truck when I purchase the truck it was at 150,000 miles now and it is at 202,000 miles when the security system blinks I will have to wait 5 or 10 minutes for the truck to start but now the security system light is on permanent and the truck won't start completely. It turns over fires up once and shuts right back off.
Starts dies instantly. Only way to get started is to leave alone for 24 hours. Have had good luck so far by waiting for the security light to go out before starting.
