1998 Volvo S90 Question: No start condition
I believe this means there's a fault in the transmission and it is requesting that the "Check Engine Light" be turned on. Check the codes in the transmission, there's a good chance you have a code for the gear position sensor. If you get the code post it here and I can give you more info. - Bret Bodas
