Chevrolet Avalanche 1500 "No start" Caused By Failed Fuel Pump
Chevrolet Avalanche 1500 Problem
Average Mileage: 143,736 mi (22,000 mi - 247,000 mi)
The engine was hard to start (it did not reach the no start situation). After a repair shop kept the truck for 4 days they diagnosed a bad fuel pump. The repair cost for the new fuel pump plus installation was about $1,200.00, which I thought was outrageous. Will not use that repair shop again.

Truck won't start on first try esp if the ac is on. Turn the ac off wait a few seconds then it will start right up.
