this sprinter won't start. acts like the ecm is shitting down. no high pressure from the high pressure pump. there is no injection pulse at the injectors when checked with a noid light. i can only access global obd2 with my scantool on this vehicle

I had similar problem dealer replaced all 3 fuel pumps. almost $3 grand. only drove 7 miles and van just shut down again with no start. finally dealer said crank shaft sensor $175 part. Did I really need pumps replaced? probably not.

you can use a scan tool to test it
on the pump in fuel tank..when pulled fuel line off fuel filter going to injector pump i get a fast good stream of fuel for 1 second or so when first turn key on then stops..is this pump only runs ...
At about 80 000mi my turbo resonator started to leak. Van went into "limp home mode" and I had to drive it another 200 mi (drove like a snail...) to get it fixed. Got it fixed (resonator replaced) ...
