2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Q&A
2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Question: no start
Are you sure the fuel pump in your 2002 Chevrolet Silverado is good? Fuel pressure should be 55-62 psi with the fuel pump running and the engine off. Please double check, fuel pump failure would be by far the most common cause for a crank no start condition on your Silverado. If fuel pressure is good, you will need to go back to the basics of checking proper spark and compression. Looking at the scan data from the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) could show an out of range sensor or a fault code stored even though the engine light is off. - Oakman
