no start on 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

have an engine that cranks (turns over) but wont start and there is no engine light, fuel pump is good and fuses are all good, any ideas...

Are you sure the fuel pump in your 2002 Chevrolet Silverado is good? Fuel pressure should be 55-62 psi with the fuel pump running and the engine off. Please double check, fuel pump failure would be by far the most common cause for a crank no start condition on your Silverado. If fuel pressure is good, you will need to go back to the basics of checking proper spark and compression. Looking at the scan data from the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) could show an out of range sensor or a fault code stored even though the engine light is off.

tried a new pcm and still no difference in the problem, any suggestions...

he could possibly mean "F"ed Over Road Dummy or perhaps Fix Or Repair Daily.

I had a similar problem with my 04 colorado. Crank but will not start fuel, spark test were good, Final report Pass Lock Sensor invalid code.Had to take it to dealer they replace it and put valid code no problem after that. Cost $490.
