Question: No spark plugs?

 Rookie

I was told that in the 2010 camry there are no spark plugs...So how does this work? The dealer tried to explain, but I don't think I understand. Can anyone explain this to me?

    I find your question very interesting. While I have heard something in the works about a gas engine that uses no spark plugs I did not know they were anywhere near production yet. Please provide some more information about your Camry - engine size, hybrid etc. And any information the dealer gave you. And I will see what I can find out for you.
