Question: no responce apon acceleration

while accelerating to pass at 60 mph pressing the accelerator pedel to the foor the engine race's but the vehicle does not speed up and blue/gray somke comes out the exhaust. i was told it was the o2 sencers and i replaced all 4 but the problem remains. then i was told it was the secondary air pump. i'm going to the poor house replacing parts without solving the problem. any help jim

    Quit throwing parts at the car, you won't save any money gambling like that. You have a very expensive car and it costs money to keep a it up. I say find a BMW expert and get it diagnosed right.

    i have no problem working on my bmw i enjoy working on it. but there are times i'm in over my head and i need advice. that's why people like me turn to repair pal to seek some advice. the 02 sencers had to be changed anyway. and to have your specialist replace them would have coast $800.00. i bought and installed them for under $300.00 so i'm way ahead of the game. plus i enjoyed doing it. oh thanks for the advice how much do i owe you?
