push pedel mid range no power just lays there until let off and floor it also shifts gears differently like tcc valve or solenoid sticks runs best first 10 minutes when still cold when under load like climbing hill check engine light blinks code is po300 and p1662 I have changed cam sensor egr maf mass intake gaskets injectors fuel pump and filter tps has 180lbs comp.18 in.vacum at idle removed cat up and downstream o2 sensors new idles 38 lbs fuel pressure 40 to 45 driving
no power under load off ide dead spot no acceleration idles fine on 1997 Pontiac Grand Am

Engine size??? 2.4 or 3.1? Never mentioned plugs/wires or any ignition parts you may have thrown at it. Is it a dead skip(misfire)?

3.1 new plugs,wires cam sensor o2sensors up and downstream,cut cat off,egr port cleaned tested egr,mass,maf,ckp sensor,tps,cleaned throttle body new intake gaskets.could it be tcc solenoid in transaxle new filter and trans fluid but does shutter on hyway with cruise on when it trys to kick lock up out,only jerks for few seconds before it shifts down.ive tried everything but shooting it to put it out of MY misery???!!!! any suggestions welcome thanks much forgot also tried changing injectors,fuel pressure reg,

Dont leave much else to replace, except module and coil packs! Hell, at this point and with a random misfire, might as well try that too. Let us know how this one turns out. How about crank sensor and circuit? Make sure sensor wire not touching exhaust mani. -firewall side, connects to the module.

poss plugged catt converter or all misfires.seek an insp from muffler shop and have catt ck'd for blockage.if you want to install vac gauge to good vac source and in neutral push gas pedal 1/2 way to floor you will loose vac at 1st but should recover quickly if not you will have an exh restriction
