I cannot start my 2007 Honda Accord lately. No noise at all when I start. The battery is good. The starter is also good because I just replaced it 6 months ago. My mechanics checked the power and figured it out that the starter relay has some issue and I decided to replace the starter relay. It worked for some times and the problem came back. Please read next because it might give you a clue. I noticed by pure coincidence that when it does not start, I switched the transmission to either P, N, or D then back to P position then I can start again. Sometimes, I also leave the car for about 5-10 minutes then it will start again. Does it mean that this is an issue with the Transmission safety switch? How can you check that problem? My mechanics told me that this model builds this switch INSIDE the transmission and replacing the switch is like to rebuild the transmission, which my mechanics told me that I should not unless the problem is really worse. Thank you for your time and response.
