no heat on 2005 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

eveything works as far as blower and switching from heat to defrost but just has no heat.Just flushed radiator,and there is no engine light on...any ideas??

I would check the thermostat, the blender door, heater core and the coolant level one of these things could be causing no heat.

thank you for the response,I went out and started playing with switches and seems that the sliders for hot to cold were sticking..long story short i now have hot and cold when switched...thank you again for the very quick response....

I have done all these things, installed new thermostat.

i'm having the same problem. Do you remember what you did to get the sliders to stop sticking ?

check for a heat control valve that opens up the flow on the heater hose to the heater core.this is located on the in side to the heater core feel both hoses to see if 1 side is hotter then the other with heat on high

When I use the heater, I can smell gas (did not smell with AC) and the mileage goes down significantly. I cannot think of any way these two are related but that is what is happening. Please advise.
It just stopped blowing but i still feel heat just not from where it suppose to come from.
it is not wet up by the dash board but on the floor boards both front and back the seal around the doors are fine and the door shuts fine also has not been a wreck the window was up have not used a...
the cruise light stays on for 10 to 60 minutes. I can't shut the light off by stepping on brake. No heat till the light shuts off.
