No Heat on 2006 Ford Taurus

Turned the heat on in my 2006 Ford Taurus and it's blowing cold air,no heat...Air conditioner and everything else is working fine...any ideas??

make sure you are not low on antifreeze- a very low level can cause that and overheating. If not you may have a stuck open thermostat or malfunctioning climate control system. Greg

Thanks for the info, was very helpful...Antifreeze was low, added about half gal. to full line, while car was still cold, let car run for about 1/2 hr. then turned heater on and, yea!! Heat again!! Thanks again!
