One of two things are most likely with the concern you described. First of wich being a temperature blend door motor which is not to hard to get to and not to expensive to replace. Second possible cause could be the temperature blend door itself. If it is the blend door the entire dash has to come out. Depending on whats available you may be able to replace the door, but most likely would have to replace the whole heater box assembly.
