Question: no fuel coming out of gas line

took gas pump out of tank hook it directly to the battery and the pump is pumping

    Start by checking fuses & relay if they are good then you'll need to bring out the test light and check that wiring harnest for a broken wire & last but not least a bad sending unit or clogged fuel filter

    are you pumping fuel or just air ? If fuel is pumping I have heard of a check valve being bad and it will not hold enough pressrue in the line to keep the engine running. You might want to replace the check valve
