no fire to coil packs on 1994 Ford Ranger

only getting fire to one side of the coil pack why?

I would suspect an issue with the ignition control module -- or the wiring connectors/wiring harness. The ignition module controls the firing of both coils in this ignition system. The processor communicates with the module, the module fires the coils.
