1995 BMW 525i

Question: no crank

 Rookie

12 volts to big lug on starter solenoid no voltage to small terminals when key is in crank position also wanted to check for codes but only could find round connector under dash , is that the data link?

   Master

  If there is no voltage to the starter solenoid( the small terminals), then you may have a defective ignition switch. Do you have an alarm? Let me know and Good Luck!
