engine doesn't crank I jump out the solenoid on the starter and it starts right up.Check the rely and 40 amp fuse all okay. Could be neutral safety switch or ignition. Is there any other solenoid or inline fuse that could be bad????

Masterprobably the ignition switch has failed, I think you can test the neutral safety switch by jumping it with a piece of wire. Napa , airtex, Borg warner, all carry the ignition switch so it must be a common part that fails

lvaldez February 06, 2012, 19:34ReplyRookieMy 2006 Pacifica would not start when I turned the key it just clicked took it in and Chrysler garage says it is the fly wheel and it will take 9 hours to repair. So now waiting for fly wheel to be changed. Just replaced timing belt and water pump one week ago with same Chrysler garage.
