Question: no clutch pressure

is there a way to tell if the slave cylinder is bad? i replaced the pressure plate disc ,throw out bearing and clutch master cylinder. i have bench bled the master cylinder and pumped and bled the system several times but still no pressure, HELP

    if you did the throwout bearing, the slave is part of the bearing and is new. it sounds like you have an air issue. gravity bleed it first then pressure bleed it.

    Be persistent, these are not the easiest systems to bleed air out of.

    Most of these systems have a different way to bleed. leave it set and open the bleeder at the slave let it gravity bleed it self until their are no bubbles and try and pump it up and then gravity bleed again if no change let some push the clutch peddle down slow but you open the bleeder first and close the bleeder before the peddle is all the way down and release the the peddle waiting about five seconds do this a couple of times noting if good squirting pressure builds up and then pump it up if this does not work and good squirting pressure builds then the slave cylinder is bad .A a retired mechanic I always replaced as a set with a new slave this set is usually a mac tched set as the peddle will feel bad or will not build up enough to work well
