no brake lights on 1998 Dodge Dakota

My trucks brake lights r not working, but my tail lights and blinkers are fine I checked the fuses and the bulbs and they are fine. what could this be?

Check to see the yellow/red wire at the brake light switch has 12 volts if so the fuse is OK, with the pedal depressed the White tan wire should be live or else the brake light switch itself is bad and not sending power to the brake light bulbs.

Replaced the fuses, all fuses are good now. Replaced the brake light switch and still nothing. At a loss now as where to go from here. I have a trailer I pull and only the turn signals(and hazards)...
Changed the tail lights, changed the fuse, changed the brake switch but I still have no break lights. Tail lights will come on when the lights are switched on. What could be the problem?
