Question

My 96 Tacoma has no brake lights. I have checked the fuse, replaced the brake light switch and still nothing. I get power to the pig tail for the camper shell that was once there, but that it. I need help.

Sounds like some issue that may be related to your camper wiring - like a splice gone bad along the way. If you verified your brake light switch (and wiring connector at the switch) are ok, and you have power at the camper shell wiring when the brakes are applied, then tracing that wiring back from that point would be the right move.
