1998 Buick Regal Question: No air out of vents

Question

I replaced the blower motor, successfully. When I turned the car on, the fan ran then I heard a "pop". Subsequently, there is no air flow out of the vents. The fan runs and the auto system works fine, except for no air flow out of vents, heat or ac. Thanks for your help!

Hey Jim, Did you find out what happened? Was there a door inside the dash that closed and shut off the airflow?

Found a vacuum line, under the hood, had disconnected. That was the pop I heard when I turned on the blower. Reconnected the vacuum line. Air flow is great now!

Great! That line provides vacuum for the vent control system, and the engine must have backfired and caused it to become disconnected.
Thanks for following up on this!
