The fuel pressure sensor may not have been sufficiently tightened during vehicle production. As a result, the fuel pressure sensor may loosen over time resulting in a fuel leak. Any fuel leak increases the risk of a fire. Nissan / Infiniti dealers will replace the fuel pressure sensor as necessary to correct this concern.

Upon deployment the passenger airbag inflator could rupture, increasing the risk of personal injury. Dealers will replace the passenger side air bag inflator to correct this concern.

The airbag system uses a sensor in the front passenger seat to detect if the seat is occupied by an adult. The affected vehicles are being recalled because this sensor, part of the occupant classification system (OCS), may incorrectly identify the passenger seat as empty when it is actually occupied by an adult. When the passenger seat is determined to be empty, the passenger airbag is disabled. Failure of the passenger airbag to properly deploy when necessary would increase the risk of injury to someone seated in the passenger seat in the event of an accident. Dealers will update the OCS software to correct this concern.

These trucks are being recalled because an electrical circuit breaker may have been incorrectly installed behind the lower left portion of the dashboard. As a result, a bolt may wear through the wire harness covering causing an electrical short circuit. This could result in a fire. Dealers will inspect and repair the wire harness and circuit breaker as necessary to correct this concern.

These vehicles are being recalled because the spare tire may not have had the correct air pressure at the time of vehicle assembly. Airbags use a chemical reaction contained in an inflator module to create the pressure necessary to inflate the bags when deployment is required. These vehicles are being recalled because the front passenger airbag inflator may produce excessive internal pressure when deployed. As a result, the inflator module could rupture, causing metal fragments to strike vehicle occupants. Dealers will inspect and replace any defective passenger front airbag inflator modules found.

Vehicles equipped with a column mounted gear shift lever are being recalled because the shift indicator could indicate the wrong gear position. This is because the gear selector plate lock clip may have been installed incorrectly and will not hold its position due to normal road vibration. If the display is incorrect, the operator may think the vehicle is secured in Park when it is not. As a result the vehicle could roll unexpectedly, increasing the risk of personal injury or a crash. Nissan dealers will check and correct the installation of the transmission lever gear selector plate lock clip to correct this concern.
