RepairPal Expert Overview:

The secondary hood latch may bind, and as a result, the hood may not be fully secured. This could cause the hood to open unexpectedly while driving. Dealers will correct the problem free of charge (the procedure is unavailable as of the time of this writing).

RepairPal Expert Overview:

In certain vehicles the hood release cable may have been installed incorrectly, as a result the latch may not fully engage, leaving the secondary latch in the open position with the hood is closed. If the primary hood latch is released and the secondary latch fails while driving the hood could open unexpectedly, blocking the driver's vision and increasing the risk of a crash. To correct this concern dealers will modify the angle of the hood release mechanism to provide additional length to the release cable.

RepairPal Expert Overview:

A mixture of snow/water and salt can seep through the interior carpet on the drivers side resulting in an electrical short in a wiring harness connector under the carpet. If left unchecked this could lead to a fire. Dealers will inspect the kick panel wiring harness connector and if necessary install a new harness connector and waterproof seal.

RepairPal Expert Overview:

The vehicle's front hubs were assembled with too little torque on fasteners, resulting in a loose assembly that does not attach the brakes correctly. Faulty braking may result, increasing the risk of a crash. Dealers will tighten loose fasteners to correct specification to correct this concern.

RepairPal Expert Overview:

194 vehicles are being recalled because interference between the transmission housing and the parking rod can cause the parking pawl to not fully engage. This could allow the vehicle to move unexpectedly while the shifter is in the park position, increasing the risk of a crash. Dealers will inspect the casting date on the transmission housing and replace the transmission as necessary to correct this concern.
