I used this place for routine repairs and oil changes for a while. They didn't seem any better or worse than other repair shops. I stopped using them when they could not fix my Volvo a/c after 4 very expensive tries and multiple promises that it would, in fact, be fixed. The car was old and they knew I did not want to spend more than the original $800 estimate. When that repair didn't fix the problem they "nickel and dimed" it in little bits. Three more repairs, each with a promise that the car would now be like an iceberg, each with another charge. Each with Nick's having my car in their shop for several days to a week. At that point, After spending a total of about $1000 I was told there was a hole, necessitating a replacement part, and the repair would cost another $1400!
I recognize that some repairs are difficult to diagnose, but when you know the customer is making a decision based on your professional advice you have an obligation to get it right or at least warn her that you may not know for certain. Claiming you can absolutely fix it if you don't know that to be the case is not fair treatment of your customer.
They would not discuss a rebate of any sort on the multiple attempts that never fixed the problem despite admitting at this final repair suggestion that it (the actual ultimate problem) was to be expected on an older car. Maybe by them, but not one of them ever said that to me before. They were fully aware that had they estimated the actual cost up front I would not have had the work done as the value of the car was less than that amount and I was likely to be getting rid of it in a year or two (which I, in fact did).
They advertise that they fix it right, but they sure didn't.
