  Nick's is really fair, and has competitive pricing. I've been going there for years. The only problem I had with them is that they did a clutch replacement and there was a weird noise coming from my Nissan Pathfinder, and I said that my truck was undriveable with that noise. The mechanic said to me "Oh, I can take care of that for you, it just wasn't part of the repair." HUH? It was something dragging off of my truck and he promptly remove it. Well, I though to myself, didn't they test drive it and notice that LOUD NOISE??

  But - the GOOD NEWS is that since they know me, that let me pay for 1/2 of the repair, and the other 1/2 a month later, allowing me to take my truck, even though I'd only paid for 1/2 of the repair.

  Aside from the weird noise thing, I trust them implicitly.
