2001 Ford Windstar

Question: New struts,shocks,alignment,stabilizer bar,tire rotation. Still tire prob.

After replacing struts, shocks, stab bar, alignment etc. it sounds like a rock in the front tire when driving down the road. Thump, thump, thump.

    May have a knot on the tire or may be starting to split. could also be age of the tire or quality.

    Thanks for the idea. The tires were rotated by garage ie back to front. The tire guy put van up on rack and drew chalk circles around the wear spots. Said they would eventually be bare if no changes. If so noticeable I think Ford garage should have spotted it.
