New distributor and distributor cap on 1993 Honda Prelude

How much should I expect to pay to get my distributor and distributor cap replaced at an independent shop? They told me over $700 because it has to be a Honda distributor

It doesn't have to be a "Honda distributor" but there are several re manufactured distributors that I would not use as we have had too many returned as defective. Our local parts supplier here in Northern CA has brand new not reman Chinese distributor that are inexpensive and I have seen no problems with them. Look at and see what they quote distributors for our car at. Labor to install, test drive and set timing will probably be quoted at .8 to 1 hour.
