Question

Is their a reliable place on the internet to buy a replacement carb and fuel pump for the 1990 Trooper 4 cylinder ? It seems when I didn't need those parts I saw several on the internet.

Any suggestions.

Now. Let me offer a good place to go if you should need rebuilds. The internet site is "Factory Rebuilders'. Located in Camirillo Ca. I had a steering gear box rebuilt by them for a 1979 Chevy Luv [ actually made in Japan by Isuzu] Shipping and return plus cost of rebuilding was a little over $300. Now my little Luv drives like brand new. If you have something that a shop has told you does not exist check them out. They do lots of rebuilds.

You can get a good shop to re-build your carb. I used to do that all the time, I probably rebuilt over 1000 carbs. Call up Keith Russel in Kitsap County at Digital Engines, he was my teacher in school and is a master rebuilder. I think he lives in Silver Lake, near Bremerton.

another site is www.carstuff.com they have parts at a really discounted price and the parts are a lot of oem parts for an almost wholesale price. also autozone.com has a repair manual online that gives step by step instructions on how to rebuild it yourself.
