It all depends on driving habits and conditions. If the brake pads were replaced some performance brake pads give great stopping power but can affect brake rotor life. Do the brakes pulsate on braking? If so the rotors may need to be replaced or resurfaced. I have seen people get more than 50,000 miles out the brake pads not to mention rotors.
