Question: New battery and tune up

 Rookie

I have had problems starting my Blazer, mileage 135k. The dealership diagnosed the problem as a bad battery and the need for a complete tuneup, plugs, wires etc. Their repair estimate is $800. Is this excessive?

  for a complete tune up? a little high but considering it is a dealership, not bad.
  you can save a lot of money going to an independent shop as there parts mark up and labor rates are much lowe than a dealer.
