1998 Ford Taurus Question: NEEDS VALVE JOB

ONE CYLINDER MISFIRES. A CYLINDER LEAKAGE TEST PROVED #1 CYLINDER HAS LOW COMPRESSION AND LEAKAGE THROUGH INTAKE VALVE. IT WAS RECOMMENDED MY CAR NEEDS A VALVE JOB. CAR IS 1998 FORD TAURUS GL V6 3.0L GAS N U. NEED ESTIMATE ON WHAT COST I SHOULD LOOK FOR AT A MECHANIC. -

how many miles on the car? if mileage is really high you may cause other issues if you redo the top end only. what is the compression on all cyl's? -
