Question: needs new waterpump and hose conecting to radiator what is the cost

front of car just started to have a small drip that smells bad i am told the metal hose from the waterpump is very costly and it will be a 3 hour job does this sound about right to you? thank you doddie the price is for waterpump hose and labour

    repairpal estimator link states $265 to $408 for water pump, gasket, coolant, clamps and labor. Looks to be about 2.5 hours but need to add in cost of hose and the additional labor and possible more clamps-hose is rubber and not metal-if has metal housing causing problems then price will go up from there. The estimate will vary depending on where you live. Need to add in taxes, disposal fees, diagnostics, etc.
