2003 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Question: need to replace timing chain

chain may be stretched. making noise. truck has 300,000 miles on it. ran it moderately hard. any ideas on the estimate for labor? i know parts cost already.

    6 hours? you have to take the entire front end off of it. before you even get to the water pump. it is probably over a day wouldnt you think?
