2003 Jaguar XJ8 Question: Need both sides, rear wheel Bearings replaced.
Answer #1hemicuda May 11, 2009, 15:42Master
The book time to replace both rear wheel bearings is 5.8 hrs and this repair should probably be done by a mechanic due to the tools and knowledge needed to replace these bearings without damaging the rear axle.

Yes, I know it needs to be done by a mechanic. ;-) That is why I'm looking for one that has the appropriate tools necessary to this vehicle. They are specific tools for this model Jaguar - for what I am told by other mechanics who can't work on them b/c of the tools.

I see quite a few Napa Auto care centers in your area http://www.napaautocare.com/ They have ASE certified mechanics and use the best parts.
