Two possible causes, one could be coolant getting into the combustion chambers, example, leaking head gasket, intake gasket. Usually engine will misfire also for a few seconds up to a few minutes until the coolant burns out of the affected cylinder(s). Another possible cause thats looks similar is light blue oil smoke which is oil burning in the cylinder(s). Possible causes could be worn valve stem seals, stopped up cylinder head due to a dirty engine

Valve guide and valve guide seal wear is common on higher mileage LS 400 engines but the engine are good for 350,000 miles if the engine oil is changed often.

I had the same problem for my lexus after my mechanic started using 10 40 oil becouse of the high mileage. i used 10 40 oil for a few oil changes till i went back to the 10 30 oil and the smoking stopped. i know i'm posting this a few years too late, but for anyone else with this problem try this solution first.
