Question: my window on driver's side will not go up.

Rookie
I assume that the motor is not working and that is the reason the window will not go up. I know the motor is quite expensive, so right now I only want to get the window up. Please advise.

JourneymanThe rebuilt motor runs about $165 and you have to pull the door panel either way to replace the motor and the book time is 3 hours labor but I would test the switch first but maybe a wrecking yard has a used switch because they run about $265 at www.parts.com

RookieI have the same problem, but mine will not go down, nor will my back windows. I was told that it may be the modulator. I have yet to actually check it because I dont know where it is. So if you get any answers please let me know.
