Question: my veracruz keeps having a dead battery. parasitic drain?

it is a new battery and alternator. if this is a common problem then why hasnt there been a recall?

    re calls are only for saftey issues. this is not a saftey issue.

    something in the car is draining it. you need a good electrical shop to track down the draw.

    This may be a battery drain but I have had three alternators and batteries go out in the last 4 years. Seems design is to run all electroincs off the battery and just use the alt to charge the battery rather than the car elect sys. Perhaps overcharge and poor design along with inferior parts is to blame. Howerver i can't find where there maybe a more robust alternator.
