my van won't turnover, sometimes. is there a saftey, neutral switch adjustment. on 1991 Toyota Previa

it only does this sometimes, ive replaced the starter, tightined the shifter arm on the column, replaced the battery. and the van has never been a problem for years , till this !!

I would start by seeing that the ignition switch is supplying power to the starter you would need a wiring diagram and good voltmeter start at the ignition switch, verify power at the ignition switch and power at the starter position of the switch when the key is turned to start carry out the same test at the starter wire to see that power is getting There is a company that independent auto repair shops get their information from, this same information is available inexpensively for people that work on their own cars.. The information is year make and model specific, covering repair procedures, torque specifications, fluid capacities and specifications, service bulletins, component locations, wiring diagrams ect....
