Question: My truck won't go in reverse. Also, my o/d light flashes on and off sometime.

What could be causing my truck not to go in reverse and make the o/d light flash on and off.

    internal issue with trans for reverse issue.
    od light is indicating a code for a failure in the system.

    at any rate, you need a trans shop to diag it for you and give you a bid. my guess is that it will have to come out and be overhauled.
